• Eco-friendly products

Eco-friendly literally means earth-friendly or not harmful to the environment. This term most commonly refers to products that contribute to green living or practices that help conserve resources like water and energy. Eco-friendly products also prevent contributions to air, water and land pollution. You can engage in eco-friendly habits or practices by being more conscious of how you use resources.

Making a truly eco-friendly product keeps both environmental and human safety in mind. At a minimum, the product is non-toxic. Other eco-friendly attributes include the use of sustainably grown or raised ingredients, produced in ways that do not deplete the ecosystem.

Environmental friendly

Organic cotton is grown without the use of toxic and persistent pesticides and synthetic fertilizers, that means it doesn’t damage the soil, has less impact on the air and 40%less CO2 emissions,75%less water used, 60%less energy comparing to farm conventional cotton.

  • Why Organic Cotton?

Organic cotton is cotton that is produced and certified to organic standards. Its plantation maintains the health of soils, ecosystems and people by using natural processes rather than conventional farming. In other words, organic cotton farming is forbidden to use toxic chemicals or GMOs (genetically modified organisms). Instead, it combines tradition, innovation and science to benefit the shared environment and promote a good quality of life for all involved.

The journey of organic cotton starts with securing untreated, natural(non-GMO) seeds. These seeds are often hard to come by and this can be a real issue for farmers. Once seeds secured, the land needs to be prepared and the seeds sown. It takes around 60-70 days from planting until the first flower appears, and boll appear 50-70 days after bloom. The growth cycle of the cotton plant lasts for approximately 5-6months.During this time, soil fertility, water, pests and weeds need to be managed. 45days after bolls appear, the cotton bolls will begin to naturally split open along the bolls’ segments. Once the cotton bolls are fully dried and fluffed, it’s ready for harvest.

Recycled paper and biodegradable material used for packaging incl. hangtags and paper boxes, bags etc.

Biodegradable products break down through natural decomposition, which is less taxing on landfills and the ecosystem as a whole.

We have realized it’s under a threat due to our own disregard of our environment in the past decades. Nowadays the most popular practice in packaging design is towards the use of eco-friendly materials, which are biodegradable and also recyclable. Indeed, investing in this kind of packaging is worthwhile. More and more companies, the trend now is to adopt recyclable and eco-friendly packaging designs as part of their thrust to become socially responsible business operators.
